I attended almost everything! Back then the Dining Room was the main gathering place. My fondest memories include 49er Days, Spring Sing, Fraternity/ Sorority Mixers.
I was involved as a Justice of the Student Court, organizer of the Pre-Legal Fraternity, Blue Key, Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE), President's Council, and Statesman.
From LBSC I went on to earn a master degree, a law degree and a doctorate. I feel that the education that I received at LBSC prepared me academically and mentally for that further education.
My business law professor Ken Poure (now deceased) gave me the desire to attend law school and to become an attorney as well as a college teacher.
I served two terms as Alumni Association President, member of the Presidents Advisory Board, chairman of the CSULB graduates who are lawyers committee, served as an adjunct professor and lecturer at CSULB.
A world class university with a home town feeling. Absolutely , a wonderful place to study, utilize the facilities and make friends. I encourage all CSULB students to give back to their school both by sharing their talents and support. You will be rewarded in many ways!
I have retired from the day to day practice of law and concentrate on serving as a consultant and counselor to churches and religious organizations.
