The professor that made an impact on me was Thomas Ferreira.
I was too busy as a full time student, working as a lab tech at LBSC part time. I was married and had two children by the time I graduated. However, it provided me the direction and insight into the career I have today.
I helped furnish the alumni office inside of the student union many years ago.
I have had my studio for fifty plus years designing and crafting furniture. In addition, I taught at CSULB in the late 1960's to 1970's then taught at Cerritos College for twenty years.
Just last fall, Bonhams and Butterfields Auction House honored me at their latest auction event by highlighting my work. A few evenings prior to the auction event, they invited the public and friends to meet me at a beautiful cocktail party, which was very successful. Much publicity happened because of it.
I've been married for 52 years, 6 children and 11 grandchildren, of which the 4 oldest are now attending CSULB. Next fall there will be a 5th!
