2017 Grads

Congratulations to all of our CHER student workers who are graduating this semester! Their contribution has been invaluable, and their creativity and drive are inspirational.

Meet our Summer 2017 grads:

Jaelen Owens is a Health Educator/Outreach Specialist on CHER's PPOWER project. He has earned a B.A. in Family and Consumer Sciences, Family Life Education concentration, and will be continuing employment at CHER.

Stephanie Sumstine was a CHER intern before steping into the role of Research Assistant. Stephanie worked on a variety of CHER projects and publications while also assisting CHER's internship program. She earned a Master of Public Health degree, and will be soon starting full-time employment as a research associate at UCLA.

Sheena Cruz completed an internship at CHER in the Spring of 2017 and has earned a Master of Public Health degree. She is applying to medical school.

Congratulations to Jasmine Barnum, Eric May, Kenya McCloyn, and Jorge Navarro each of whom earned a B.S. in Health Science, Community Health Education.

Eric is applying to physician’s assistant programs. Kenya is applying to MPH programs, and Jorge will be applying to medical school.
